**Extrusion Operator - Plastic Recycling**

Labourpower Trade is seeking multiple, experienced, extrusion operators with a minimum of 2 year's experience to operate machinery, assist with the quality assurance of product and assist with troubleshooting of equipment when there are issues raised.

There are multiple roles on offer across Day, Afternoon & Night Shift with a great, competitive pay rate.

These roles are based in Somerton, with a client who specialises in Plastic Recycling.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in Blown film Extrusion, Co-extrusion
- Previous experience operating EXTRUSION OR BLOW MOULDING MACHINES
- Mechanical Aptitude
- Previous experience in Recycling or Waste Management environment - Advantageous
- Managing the procedure from raw material to the end process
- Ensure product is inspected, tested as per quality procedures
- Maintaining a safe work environment
- Ensure that all aspects of machinery are running properly during the manufacturing process
- Perform regular preventative maintenance and cleaning of equipment

- Ability to work within a cohesive team
- A willing and proactive attitude towards safety
- Ability to prioritise work tasks
- Ability to work unsupervised or as part of a team when required
- A reliable car and valid licence

- Reliability with a good work ethic
- Excellent communication; able to follow instructions
- Self-motivated and able to work with mínimal supervision
- Must be a hard worker and physically fit

**Experience**:

- Machine operating: 4 years (preferred)
