Local Land Services (LLS) is an Executive Agency related to the cluster. It provides quality, customer-focused services to landholders and the community across New South Wales. This regionally based organisation brings together a wide range of service and advisory functions including agriculture, biosecurity, natural resource management, land management, biodiversity, emergency services and private native forestry.?

This role will support whole of business monitoring, evaluation, adaptive management and reporting within the South East Local Land Services region.

**What will you be responsible for?**

The Business Services Officer has a whole of region focus to support effective initiatives across all service delivery areas and will be accountable for the following:

- Supporting the development and use of effective methodologies, tools, and processes to continuously improve the monitoring, evaluation, and reporting of service delivery
- Supporting delivery staff with monitoring and reporting requirements including data capture and systems use
- Supporting teams to effectively plan and design their monitoring and evaluation activities to align with organisational reporting, financial management and outcomes
- Collect and compile information for and prepare quality documentation to support information flow that informs decision making

As the Business Services Officer you will work with the Planning and Business Development Officer to:

- Collect and collate data on project delivery to meet reporting requirements including the administration of our Business Reporting and Evaluation Tool (BERT)
- Support program and project evaluation including working with teams to adapt their approaches to project delivery
- Identify ways to improve business systems by designing efficient approaches and encouraging their uptake
- Support internal users of reporting and grant management systems
- Support a Balance Scorecard reporting approach to Leadership and the Board
- Support and participate in response to emergency situations

The Business Services Officer reports to the Planning and Business Officer and works closely with other members of the South East Team.

**About You**
- A degree in a relevant field and/or equivalent knowledge and experience
- Excellent administrative skills, a high attention to detail and a proven ability to analyse data to improve decision making processes
- Experience and expertise working with data management and reporting systems
- An understanding of monitoring, reporting and evaluation methods and systems for business improvement
- Effective communication skills, with strong collaboration capabilities
- Ability to communicate and consult effectively with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders with diverse needs and viewpoints
- A current NSW Drivers Licence and the ability and willingness to travel with some overnight stays.
