Work as a Lab Tech in a fly in fly out role on the Snowy Hydro Project in Cooma. 2 weeks on 1 week off.

**Your new company**
Your new company is an Australian founded, multinational business that manufactures and supplies building and construction materials. This business is an industry leader and has been operational for over 75 years and operates at over 700 sites globally. With the Snowy Hydro Project underway and due to some internal team changes they are seeking a Lab Tech to join their FIFO team.

**Your new role**
As a FIFO role you will need to get to Cooma at the start of each rotation to be transported to the site. You will be required to including 12 hour shifts and potentially some night shifts. AS part of a small team you will be working independently and reporting to the Lab Supervisor. You will be required to complete testing on concrete samples, maintaining/recording information, reporting results and calibrating equipment. You will be required to meet all NATA accreditation requirements

**What you'll need to succeed**
As the successful applicant you will have;
- Previous Concrete or Quarry laboratory testing (desirable but not essential).
- Nata signatory for Concrete or Aggregates tests (desirable but not essential).
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in science or another relevant discipline e.g. Civil, Chemical or Materials - (desirable but not essential).
- Well developed skills and understanding of computer systems for monitoring and reporting of data (especially with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel etc).
- Ability to cope under pressure and work to competing priorities

**What you'll get in return**
You will be paid a very competitive salary of $160K - $185K + super pending experience. As this is a fixed term contract of approx 9 months you may also have options for other roles within the business at the end of the contract. Due to the nature of this work whilst on site all meals and accommodation will be provided and you will be shuttled to and from the work site each day.
