**The Role**:
As our Supply and Distribution Manager, you will effectively oversee, manage and continuously improve key functional areas within the Supplying & Distribution Department. With a process oriented approach and proven leadership skills, you will ensure that the logistics and warehousing activities are performed within an efficient and cost effective manner.

**Responsibilities**:

- Create and monitor the distribution procedures and policies for F & H TRADING, according to Food Distribution regulations
- Monitoring the storage arrangements and policies of all food produced at F & H TRADING, according to food safety regulations
- Supervise picking and packing staff engaged in preparing food items for distribution
- Negotiating and monitoring contracts with delivery for all customers of F & H TRADING
- Communicating with F & H TRADING customers regarding delivery schedules and amendments to delivery
- Liaising with production manager and farm manager, harvest manager regarding stock levels and seasonal variations
- Monitoring the quantity, cost and efficiency of the movement and storage of farm produce
- Review and approve purchase orders for packing supplies
- Monitor progress of major deliveries to ensure receipt
- Control and manage all warehouse stocks for produce storage and distribution

**Skills & Attributes**:

- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a related field
- High level of interpersonal skills and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to successfully lead and motivate a team in a fast paced environment
- Ability to multi task and work under pressure
- Demonstrated passion for excellence, accuracy and urgency in warehouse role
- Evidence of a genuine desire to work in a close team environment
