**About the Role**

We are currently seeking General Services Officer to join our supportive team and provide efficient, friendly and professional service at Wollongong Private Hospital**. **In the role of General Services Officer you will be assisting to provide and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness throughout the hospital whilst delivering excellent customer service.

**This Role will entail, but is not limited to**:

- Distribution/collection of customer menus, food trays, beverages as well as basic food preparation
- Cleaning and sanitizing workstations and food court areas;
- Providing fast, friendly and exceptional customer service;
- Display a strong level of team commitment whilst also having the ability to work autonomously where required;
**About You**
- Prior of experience in hospital, aged care, restaurant, café or retail catering
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene principles
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Demonstrated commitment to excellence in customer service
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required

Desirable Criteria
- Experience in food preparation in the health care industry
- Certificate 2 / 3 in Hospitality
- Food Hygiene/Safety certificate preferred
- Experience in hospital cleaning
- Excellent time management skills

**Remuneration**

On offer is an hourly rate from **_$24.32_** + Superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

**Requirements**:
Everyone who joins Ramsay:

- Must be **vaccinated against Covid-19** a vaccine approved by the Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation
- _Must provide a _**National Police** check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a **Working-With-Children** check and **proof of immunisation** against infectious diseases
