Employee Communications Partner

**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
Reporting to the Manager Internal Communications, you will be responsible for developing content and executing employee communications initiatives in alignment with the internal communication strategy. The role will deliver a strategic approach to employee communications which engages and inspires our people. This is a 12 month fixed term, full-time opportunity.

**Your role as an Employee Communications Partner will involve**:
- Drive employee engagement and advocacy through increased understanding of organisational priorities
- Support implementation and coordination of the internal communication strategy
- Produce compelling content and messaging for a range of channels, such as, intranet articles, employee newsletter, toolbox talks and presentations
- Develop creative content such as film, photography, and infographics to communicate complex projects and technical information in an appealing and digestible way
- Project management planning across a calendar year to optimise internal campaigns and events
- Develop and implement internal communications plans for key projects
- Regularly engage with all business units to share employee stories, projects, and relevant updates
- Support management by proof reading materials as needed
- Provide advice to the business on the creation of communication materials and delivery strategies
- Research and implement best practice strategies to continuously improve internal communications
- Use data and analytics to measure and improve the effectiveness of communications and engagement activities
- Communicate events across the organisation
**EXPERIENCE**
- Tertiary qualification in communications or a related field
- Demonstrated copy writing experience for varied audience groups and across different platforms
- Knowledge of editing, video, and photography tools
- Demonstrated experience managing a SharePoint intranet environment
- Strong written communication
- Strong stakeholder management skills
