**Role Summary**:
The Technical Writer is an exciting opportunity in our Digital and Technology business unit based at our Cockburn & Kwinana sites.

The Technical Writer role works within the Process Safety & Asset Management (PSAM) framework and leads the technical writing function at Pinjar, Cockburn & Kwinana and is a site-based role with travel to key sites required

**Key responsibilities of the role include**:

- The Technical writer drives the creation of a documentation, methodology and framework.
- Interpret, analyse & produce technical documentation for site assets following Process Safety & Asset Management principles
- Work with Engineering, Project Teams, and other key stakeholders to gather data for creation or revision of technical asset documentation such as Safe Work Instructions, Station Instructions, Plant Operating Instructions and Maintenance Procedures essential to ensure correct risk management for front line workers to carry out their day-to-day tasks
- Produce, update and workflow (standard review and approval process) documentation associated with all aspects of Thermal Generation assets

**What you’ll bring**:

- 3-5 years in a power station, heavy industry, or engineering environment
- Extensive experience architecting complex site documents and documentation sets, information design and structured authorising
- Demonstrates high-level process analysis and technical writing skills and experience in translating complex technical information.
- A strong track record in delivering high quality technical writing documents.
- The ability to learn complex drafting and engineering concepts quickly and explain with clarity and technical accuracy.
