**Description**:
Peninsula Leisure has an exciting opportunity for staff members with lifeguard experience and qualifications to join our new Splash Island team as a Splash Island Lifeguard.
With the arrival of our new Splash Island aquatic attraction, we are looking for fun, friendly and motivated lifeguards to join the Splash Island team.
These will be casual positions, predominantly on the school holidays and weekends for birthday parties, with the occasional schools program thrown in.
**Duties and Responsibilities include (but not limited to)**:
Safe and timely set up and pack up of Splash Island
Supervision of Splash Island while in use
Ensure enjoyable, cohesive and safe experience for all users of Splash Island
Providing a safety briefing to all participants using PARC Splash Island equipment
Usual Lifeguard duties as per GSPO
**Key Selection Criteria include (but not limited to)**:
Current Pool Lifeguard Award qualification
Current First Aid
Current Working with Children’s Check
Current Police Records Check
Have a fun and friendly demeanour
Well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
