**The Opportunity**
Join our passionate team in a permanent full time capacity, at the Eora Centre and share your knowledge and experience in **Literacy/Numeracy**.

**A day in the life of a Literacy/Numeracy Teacher at Eora campus**

The Literacy /Numeracy teacher at Eora Centre plays a key role in the delivery of a range of foundation skills courses for community and industry. This rewarding role may see you working in a community location developing core reading writing and maths skills for parents, Elders or early school leavers. It may also involve the opportunity to collaborate with industry partners to develop customised pathway programs that lead to great careers for our mob. Literacy/Numeracy teachers are also critical to the support of Aboriginal Learners in all TAFE qualifications. **About You**
- One of the following qualifications:
A Bachelor Degree (AQF 7) in Education with a Literacy and/or Numeracy Major, or

A Bachelor Degree (AQF 7), plus a postgraduate qualification (AQF 8) in Literacy and/or Numeracy,
- Hold a minimum of 1 years post-qualification experience in the industry
- Hold a TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or a diploma or higher level qualification in adult education

**_Please note:_**_ Applicants without the specific qualifications above, but with education qualifications and significant experience in L&N teaching delivery, are eligible to apply._
