**The Role**:
Maxima, and Jim’s Mowing (Happy Valley West), are looking for a motivated individual to undertake an entry-level Horticulture Traineeship.

This role will see you working hands-on completing general gardening for residential and private properties. Across 3-years gain practical experience and receive paid study time towards achieving a nationally recognised **Certificate III in Horticulture**.

Based at Christies Beach, you will be required to travel on a regular basis between clients within the Southern suburbs of Adelaide.

**Duties Include**:

- Garden and grounds maintenance
- Mulch, prune, pot, and water plants
- Install turf
- Use of garden tools and machinery
- Brush cutting and mowing
- Pest and weed control
- Install irrigation pipes and watering systems

**About You**:

- Great time management and organisation skills
- Thrives working within team environments and independently
- Willingness to learn
- Strong work ethic; punctual and reliable
- Ability to problem-solve and take initiative
- Previous experience in gardening or similar trades (advantageous)

**Role Requirements**:

- Current driver’s licence and access to reliable vehicle
- National Police Clearance (or willing to obtain)
- Physically fit and prepared to undertake manual tasks
- Satisfactorily pass a pre-employment medical assessment, including drug and alcohol test
