The role of International Logistics Co-ordinator plays an important and broad role supporting the Business and customers on an international logistics divisions.

Responsibilities for freight coordination for off-shore customers and affiliate countries encompassing all orders scheduling between production, freight forwarders, completion of required documentation ensuring mínimal delays and meeting customer timing requirements. Work as an operational link between Client sales team, Client customers and supply chain coordination.

More specifically the role will involve:

- Providing support for overseas managers.
- Providing support and backup for customer service executives
- Communication with overseas managers.
- Other duties delegated by manager.
- Logistics for international stock movement.
- Documentation and preparation of transit reports required for international stock movement.
- Order entry-Update price sheet & quotations. All prices is provided by sales team.
- Invoicing and posting-Credit notes/ returns working with finance department.
- Enter new orders in GP and confirm back ASAP on ETD to customers and affiliates.
- Update Export List with new orders and send to relevant departments and people
- Maintain update of relevant vessel schedules and cut-off dates in organising shipments in both Air and Sea.
- Compile, complete and send export documents to the consignee and customer
- Sea Freight; Air Freight; Courier Shipment Documentation; Bookings

Schedule, control despatch, coordinate, consolidate shipments for Client OS offices, agents and factories. Deal with freight forwarders in relation to stocking and storage, clearances, container supply and movements and an understanding in handling dangerous goods. Represent the Client in international logistic documentation controlling commercial and legal documentation required by operations.
- Obtain Quotes and supply quotation for sea freight and air freight costs
- Completion of export documentation. Sea freight documentation MO41 to be organised and signed by production or warehousing qualified personnel.
- Prepare and Review Letter of Credits for country and customer requirement.
- Communicate with Banks and finance departments for obtaining and setting of LC’s
- Airfreight and sea freight documentation working with VECCI, AACCII and AQIS
- Using of alternative freight forwarders Ex Works exports review of freight invoices from freight forwarders
- Be aware of customer needs and request use to change, according to changes in the market, new products, new freight rules and regulations, etc.

- Tertiary Qualifications preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word

Professional, helpful and flexible approach

Well-presented and good communication skills.

Previous experience in administration.

Must have previous experience in a similar role but training will be provided.

Be willing to continue training requirements for logistics area
