**MAINTENANCE FITTER**

**LOCATION - COBURG, VIC**

**THREE SHIFT OPTIONS AVAILABLE - WORK LIFE BALANCE**

**_$46.14 PER HOUR + SUPER (SEE BELOW FOR PENALTIES)_**

**Shift Option 1** - 12 hr shift option in Taper Ends department on Dayshift.
- Week 1 is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 7 am - 7 pm and Week 2 is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 7 am - 7 pm and Thursday 7 am - 3 pm. Paid fortnight 76 hrs ordinary, 3 hrs T1.5 and 1 DT (No shift allowance).

**Shift Option 2** - 12 hr shift option in our new Sheet Feed Press department on Dayshift.
- Hours 6.45 am - 6.45 pm on rostered days. Days are staggered (No shift allowance), paid average weekly of 38 hrs ordinary and 2 hrs T1.5.

**Shift Option 3** - 12 hr shift option in our new Sheet Feed Press department on Nightshift.
- Hours 6.45 pm - 6.45 am on rostered days (Night Shift) (30% shift allowance on ordinary hrs worked), paid average weekly of 38 hrs ordinary and 2 hrs T1.5 plus 38 hrs shift allowance.

Any additional hours worked is all T2.0. In addition, site is covered by EBA Coburg Collective Agreement.

**YOUR ROLE**

As part of the Maintenance team you will ensure plant and machinery in designated machines are properly maintained and operating efficiently, whilst considering costs and the production schedule. The position requires a good understanding of preventative and predictive maintenance.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Ability to work as a maintenance fitter and also perform general duties when required (for example: sweeping; forklift; general assistance and any ad hoc duties required by management)
- Identifying faults and performing breakdown repairs to minimise downtime and micro-stops caused by production machinery and equipment
- Inspecting, testing, and maintaining machinery, equipment in process and packaging areas
- Performing general plant and building maintenance work Compliance with the business Workplace Health and Safety requirements
- Develop and maintain positive work relationships within the team

**KEY REQUIREMENTS**
- At least 4 years' experience in a Maintenance fitting role, preferably related to manufacturing
- Trade Qualification: Mechanical Fitter
- Forklift license required
- Need to supply own tools
- Experience in an FMCG or Manufacturing facility
- Exceptional diagnostic and fault-finding experience
- Ability to read and interpret Engineering Drawings
- Attend and complete all training as required.
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team.
- Thorough understanding and knowledge of WHS regulations/procedures.
