Compliance Officer

We are looking for a suitably qualified **Compliance Officer **to join the team. You will be responsible for managing Road Opening Permits (ROPs) with a particular focus on the condition of the associated assets, as left by the ROP holder.

**The successful applicant will have**:

- Able to audit the compliance standards of ROP holders to ensure that they meet Council’s requirements.
- A solid understanding and a qualification in current, relevant risk management processes.
- Demonstrated experience in being a prime liaison and reference point for utility and service providers, contractors and other employees to discuss compliance matters.
- An understanding of AS 1742.3 (2019) and its associated guide - Austroads Guide to Temporary Traffic Management (AGTTM).
- Excellent written communication skills including the preparation of reports, discussion papers and general correspondence, with the ability to listen, decipher and research to provide authoritative advice to work areas efficiently and professionally.

**Qualifications/Licenses required**:

- Car License
- White Card
- Diploma level qualification and/or relevant experience.
- Completion of traffic and risk management qualifications.

**Position Hours**:Full-time, 76 hours fortnight.

**Salary range**:$72,254.21 to $82,106.59 plus superannuation
