Skip Lorry Driver

**Responsibilities**:
**Safe Operation of Skip Bin Trucks**:Safely operate skip bin trucks, adhering to traffic regulations and company safety standards. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any issues promptly.

**Delivery and Collection**:Deliver and collect skip bins to and from customer locations in a timely and efficient manner. Ensure that bins are securely loaded and unloaded, and contents are properly secured during transportation.

**Customer Interaction**:Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner. Provide assistance with bin placement, answer customer inquiries, and address concerns effectively. Maintain a positive company image through excellent customer service.

**Waste Management Compliance**:Ensure that all waste disposal activities comply with local regulations and company policies. Properly document and handle waste materials, segregating recyclables when applicable.

**Route Planning**:Efficiently plan and organize daily routes to optimize fuel efficiency and timely bin deliveries. Communicate any delays or changes in the schedule to the operations team.

**Vehicle Maintenance**:Perform basic maintenance tasks on skip bin trucks, such as checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and cleanliness. Report any mechanical issues promptly for repairs.

**Documentation**:Complete and maintain accurate records of deliveries, collections, and any customer interactions. Submit required paperwork in a timely manner.

**Qualifications**:

- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably with skip bin or waste management experience.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and traffic laws.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks related to skip bin handling.
- Attention to detail and a responsible attitude toward waste management practices.
- Flexibility in working hours, including weekends if required.

**Salary**: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
