Stem Teacher

**Role Description/Criteria**

St Francis of Assisi Primary School is seeking a teacher who is innovative, knowledgeable and passionate about teaching STEM and integrating this effectively into our curriculum, learning and teaching practices. Applicants will possess the skills and abilities to promote high expectations for all, embrace a collaborative approach to learning and teaching, and demonstrate their contribution to the ongoing development of our learning community.

This position is 0.6 FTE (Tues, Wed and Thurs)

- an ability to develop and maintain respectful and caring relationships with students, families and colleagues
- an understanding and demonstrated use of evidence based best practice
- a working knowledge of the STEM curriculum and the ability to plan accordingly
- an ability to work collaboratively in a team
- a capacity to use data to make informed decisions about learning and teaching
- an understanding and experience with PBL (an advantage)
- the willingness to adhere to St Francis of Assisi's Child Safety Policy and Code of Conduct and other policies relevant to Ministerial Order 1359
