About the job

Do you enjoy working with autonomy where you play an active role in the smooth running of your team’s function at site?

We currently have a permanent opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced Administration Assistant to join the team supporting the Technical, Engineering, Planning and Residue Departments at our Pinjarra Refinery.

This role works Monday through Friday on a full-time basis and attracts a flexible leisure day every four-week period giving you great work life balance giving you more time outside of work to do the things you love

This busy position provides confidential administrative services to the relevant department manager and their reporting staff.

You will be responsible for:
- Co-ordinating and formulating the necessary management and department reporting requirements in a manner that achieves customer standards and time frames.- Assisting with Department efficiency and cost-effectiveness by co-ordinating internal and external resources for special and ongoing projects.- Optimise the effectiveness of Manager’s time by developing and utilising office systems and managing Department scheduling requirements.- Provide support for functional departments and assistance with administrative requirements.- Coordination of computer, radio, and printer changeouts

About you

To play a part in our ongoing success we are seeking someone with:
- We are seeking a dynamic person with significant experience in a confidential administrative role.- You will be a highly motivated individual who has the ability to work effectively unsupervised, managing conflicting priorities from a broad customer group.- Your excellent communication skills, attention to detail and work management will compliment your drive to meet customer demands in a timely manner.- You will have strong computing experience, and ideally with experience in the suite of systems used by Alcoa, such as Oracle, Word, Excel, OneNote and Sharepoint.
