Help at Hand Support Services ‘HAHS’ is a specialist disability support provider that is passionate about helping empower our participants to live their best life. We provide support services to NDIS participants.
The role: We have an exciting opportunity available for an Accounts Admin Officer who is passionate about accounts/bookkeeping and has a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Providing support to the Accounts team
- Completing set invoicing and payroll tasks
- Resolving pay and invoice enquiries
- Processing and paying invoices and Bills
- Updating records and entering data into our accounting and scheduling software
- Managing NDIS Payment processes and other related activities
- Communicate with and manage enquiries from NDIS Participants and Service Providers.
- Managing new employee digital paperwork, file compliance and set-up
- Assisting with new client digital paperwork, file compliance and set-up
- Other ad-hoc administration tasks as required
About YOU: To be successful in this role you will possess the following skills:
- Experience in Payroll and invoice processing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Great attention to detail and an excellent level of accuracy
- Exceptional customer service skills coupled with patience and commitment
- The ability to build and maintain rapport with stakeholders
- A high level of computer literacy with experience using information management systems
- Unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Conscientious work ethic and time management skills
- Experience and knowledge using Xero software (desirable)
- Ability to work with external Accountant
- Values processes and procedures Desirable
- Tertiary qualifications in accounting/bookkeeping

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20 per week
**Salary**: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Bundoora VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Microsoft Office: 1 year (preferred)
- Xero: 1 year (preferred)
- Accounting: 1 year (required)
