**YOUR ROLE**
As a Cyber Enterprise Governance Specialist within the second line of cybersecurity, your role is essential in the oversight and implementation of enterprise cybersecurity standards and policies. Your responsibilities will also include managing the entire lifecycle of cybersecurity Policy Exemption Requests, ensuring the presence of effective risk mitigation measures, and accurate documentation of acceptances for issues and risks. Additionally, you will supervise the execution of documented actions associated with these records.
Staying current with industry trends, threats, vulnerabilities, and security practices is an integral part of your role. You will translate this knowledge into relevant security control objectives that align with managing cybersecurity risk within the organization's risk appetite while ensuring a pragmatic approach to cybersecurity.
**ABOUT YOU**
This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing team to set the organisational mandatory cybersecurity policy requirements and to provide expert advice on cyber-related regulatory compliance obligations. Ideally, you will have the following skills and work experience:
- Demonstrated experience and capability in technology risk management, technology governance, technology compliance or equivalent domains.
- Demonstrated experience in Cybersecurity risk management and controls, including Cloud technologies.
- Experience in the Financial Services industry preferred.
- Proven capacity for building relationships and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Experience with frameworks such as NIST CSF, NIST SP 800-53, ISO27001/2, ISO31000, COBIT
- Familiarity with industry regulations, including APRA Prudential Standards, Australian Privacy Act and PCI-DSS.
- Experience with Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) tools such as ServiceNow GRC.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in a field related to the role (technology or commercial).
- Relevant professional memberships and certifications, CRISC, CISM, CGEIT qualifications highly regarded.
