Reporting to the Freight & Distribution Manager, you will be responsible for building and designing best practice for managing equipment at Tassal. You will be managing bin equipment via external suppliers and managing Tassal owned bin equipment. You will be a detail focused, people person who is self-motivated. This role has a lot of autonomy so you will be comfortable making decisions, but your line manager will always be there to support you. This position can either be based in Sydney or Hobart.

What does your week look like?

**Liaising with external suppliers**:Building great relationships with external suppliers to effectively manage bin and pallet equipment.

**Internal Communications**:Liaising with Tassal Processing and Marine sites regarding pallet and bin management inbound and outbound, as well as working to maintain adequate supply of equipment to meet business demand and minimise commercial and operational risk.

**Invoicing**:Receive and code invoices for external accounts.

**Reporting**:Monthly reporting on spends with external suppliers including commentary.

**Travel**: Be able to travel to sites across Australia once per year.

**What you’ll need**:

- Excellent attention to detail
- Understanding of CHEP equipment
- 1 - 2 years’ experience in a logistics role
- Strong cross functional communication and relationship management skills.
- Great planning and organisational skills.
