We are recruiting Diploma Qualified Room Leaders for multiple beautiful services, located in:

- Alkimos (babies room)
- Coogee (toddler room)
- Gwelup
- Southern River

You will be required to work alongside and support the teaching staff of the Service and always adhere to the Education and Care Services National Regulations which come under the Education and Care Services National Law. Following child protection regulations and the policies, goals and philosophies of the Service will enable you to uphold the ‘Early Years Learning Framework’ and ‘National Quality Standards’ as per the service philosophy, goals, policies and procedures.

**About You**:
If you can engage children and build relationships and rapport with them quickly, you will have an affinity for supporting children through their early childhood education journey. Using common sense and industry knowledge, you will be dedicated to providing high-quality care to the local community’s children.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- As a Room Leader, you will play a vital role in guiding and inspiring educators caring for children aged 0 - 5. Your duties will include:

- Collaborating closely with the Centre Director to ensure that daily operations meet the highest standards.
- Supporting the implementation of educational programs through planned activities, spontaneous engagement, and involving families.
- Ensuring strict compliance with all relevant regulations, legislation, and quality standards.
- Establishing robust partnerships with families and communities to enrich children's learning and development outcomes.
- Engaging in continuous professional development to enhance your performance and expertise.

**Requirements**:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

- Diploma of Early Childhood Education or an overseas ACECQA Approved Equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Room Leader is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Valid Working With Children's Check.
- First Aid & CPR Certificate.
- Sound understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
- Unrestricted work rights in Australia.
