Are you an enthusiastic, dedicated person looking for an opportunity to work as a Personal Care Assistant (PCA)? As an unqualified Personal Care Assistant, you will work as part of a team providing safe and effective personal care tailored to the needs of your client group.

Duties include assisting and promoting independence with any of the following as required:

- Personal care including assisting with hygiene, dressing and grooming
- Mealtime assistance, washing, and supporting residents with activities of daily living
- Transportation to community and medical appointments as required
- Maintaining cleanliness of living spaces
- Engaging clients in meaningful activities tailored to their individual needs and goals
- Facilitating activities related to health and wellness

Essential attributes for this role are:

- Able to work collaboratively with all stakeholders
- Able to cope with the physical demands of the job

Experience in a caring field would be an advantage but people new the industry are also encouraged to apply.

Eligibility Criteria:

- Be an Australian citizen/permanent resident to be eligible for Government funded but fee for service is available also for Non Residents.
- Be willing to commit to a 12-month course that will be both virtual and/or classroom based
- Must have current or willing to undergo a police check/WWC
- COVID 19/flu Vaccinated
