- Thentic is recruiting a new position for an organisation that are a well known leading national Freight & Logistics provider that have been in operation for over 20 years and employ over 100 staff nationally.

- They service a variety of industry verticals from e-comm, fmcg, consumer goods, construction, electronics, merchandise & much more. The services they carry their transportation through is road, air, sea & courier from their warehouse facilities.
- The role:

- This is an integral role in the business working within the sales team and you have the luxury to work from home at times once trust is built up. You will be working through existing managing some existing relationships, as well as prospecting and telemarketing calls to new customers to set up appointments for the senior exec team to go and attend.
- Your duties will be purely over the phone interaction in which you will be calling, speaking with the business managers or owners and discussing the freight and logistics services they use and ideally landing an opportunity for your team to go and consult with them. You get paid commission on top of your base salary for successful outcomes from these opportunities.- Promoting and working in an essential service that is a required use commercial markets; transport and logistics
- Strategic calls to, and prospecting business customers who use freight and logistics
- Relationship and account management of key customers
- Dealing with markets such as e-commerce, manufacturing, hardware, retail, FMCG, fashion and much more
- Looking for opportunities for customers to use the companies services
- Booking new appointments and meetings with clients for the senior team to attend
- Discussing the value and benefits (full in-depth training on this provided)
- Building rapport and satisfaction in your dealings
- Conducting volumes of calls and conversations daily
- WFH flexibility once established in the role
- Recording and updating your work in the CRM and database
- Working along side skilled and experience industry executive

The experience necessary for this job:

- To be considered for this role you can come from a relatable background where you have been in Customer Service, Sales, Telemarketing, Prospecting, Account Management or a similar function - where you are cold calling and setting appointments ideally with business customers.
- Ideal but not essential that you will have experience and exposure to Freight, Logistics, Transport, Couriers or something in that realm. If not, then strong phone sales experience from any industry can be looked at.
- Key areas in need are:
- Experience in business sales calls and prospecting
- Ability to build rapport with customers & clients
- Ability to use CRM and online tools, LinkedIn
