Gutter Cleaner

**Adelaide Gutter Mesh** is expanding and looking for motivated Gutter Cleaning Operators to join our growing team If you’re looking to develop new skills, work outdoors, and be part of a supportive, close-knit company, we’d love to hear from you.

**Key Responsibilities**:
As a Gutter Cleaning Operator, you’ll visit a variety of residential and commercial sites across South Australia, ensuring roofs and gutters are clean, safe, and well-maintained. You’ll work independently at times, collaborate with our team, and interact directly with clients.

**The main tasks of this role include (but are not limited to)**:

- Roof gutter cleaning using a gutter vacuum machine or by hand
- Solar panel cleaning
- Reporting on property condition
- Minor gutter and roof repairs
- Gutter Guard installation
- Providing excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and providing product and service information
- Adhering to safety protocols and company standards at all times

Prior roofing or working at heights experience is highly regarded but not necessary, as full training will be provided to the right applicant.

You are required to work autonomously and within a team at times. A high-level of risk awareness is required, to ensure all safety standards are met.

**Successful applicant must be able to meet the following criteria**:
Must-Haves:

- Current and valid Australian Driver’s License
- Australian citizen or permanent resident status
- Willingness to undergo a Police Check
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Comfort with working at heights and performing physical tasks (climbing ladders, lifting equipment)
- Strong safety awareness and adherence to company policies
- Punctuality, good presentation, and a proactive work ethic

Preferred (But Not Required):

- Working at Heights ticket
- White Card
- Prior experience in roofing, gutter cleaning, or related trades

As much as the position begins as a casual role, the hours are full time Monday-Friday with scope for full-time conversion in the future for the right person.

Our gutter cleaning operators work on average 28-35 hour weeks.

Work is based out of Wattle Park, with travel to various suburbs in Adelaide and occasional regional assignments.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: From $31.21 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 36 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

**Experience**:

- working at heights: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (required)
- White Card (preferred)
- Work Safely at Heights (preferred)
