Woods & Co have partnered with this iconic venue who are on the hunt for a capable, assistant venue manager looking for an opportunity to step up and own the role

You are a person who lives and breathes the hospitality industry and has a love of music, booze, and people can confidently sling a few VLS’s, shake a few tins and have great people and facility management skills. Experience in a fast-paced, late-night venue(s) is a must with a willingness to learn and grow. This is a hands-on role - you'll be part of the service, be the leading team player, handle all people management tasks and troubleshoot service issues.

**What do you do?**
- Training & inducting staff
- Provide excellent customer service
- Run the Bar operations
- Work closely with the Venue Manager
- Be an all-rounder
- Stocktake
- Liaise with our Security team to ensure all events run smoothly and safely
- Meet profitability and revenue targets through stock management and shift management
- Monitor inventory and order correct levels of stock
- Ensuring all aspects of the venue meet safety standards and risk management plan
- Overseeing the cleanliness of staff and the physical bar area

**What do you need?**
- Experience working under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to be part of an enthusiastic and motivated team and lead by example
- Demonstrated experience in training staff
- Ability to work with local authorities and security
- Ability to work late nights with flexible hours
- Organised and hard working
- Proven leadership skills and a team player
- An understanding of weekly budgets, forecasting and COGS costing preferred.
