We are recruiting a new permanent position on behalf of one of Australia’s largest engineering businesses. Given the scale of their operations, you will gain exposure to a wide range of metal fabrication projects and be using a wide range of precision machinery. You will also be responsible for programming CNC machines.

**The Job**:

- Create precision tools using advanced machinery and equipment
- Validate tool quality through meticulous sample trials.
- Interpret drawings and specifications to execute job requirements
- Adjust and replace cutting tools for optimal performance
- Maintain a well-organised program library for seamless operations
- Collaborate with the wider team
- Machinery used will include press tools, wire cutting machines, EDM’s, CNC borers and manual drills, mills, lathes and saws

**Skills, Experience and Qualifications Required**:

- Cert. III in Engineering with Toolmaker trade qualifications
- Over 2 years of proven Toolmaker or similar experience
- Proficiency in Mazatrol, Heidenhain, and Fanuc controls (at least experience with 1-2)
- Great communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail
