**The Opportunity**

We are looking for an experienced Payroll Officer to join our team on a full-time permanent basis at our largest factory in Virginia.

You will be joining a collaborative and supportive, geographically dispersed team and be jointly accountable for the full function processing of the weekly and fortnightly pay runs.

**The Accountabilities**
- Management and end to end processing of company payrolls considering compliance with Enterprise Agreements, Awards and Fair Work legislation
- Completion of all payroll activities related to the onboarding and offboarding of employees, including complex termination calculations and estimates
- Administration, compliance and reporting of all statutory obligations, including superannuation and, Workers Compensation
- Interaction with employees, leaders and People & Culture colleagues on payroll queries and issue resolution
- Participation in internal and external supplier, auditor, or other payroll related audits

**The Ingredients for Success**

Just like you can’t make a Tim Tam without chocolate, there are a few essential ingredients we need for this role:

- Minimum 5 years end to end Australian Payroll experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to take initiative and build strong, productive relationships
- Innate ability to build rapport across all levels with a strong ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
- Comprehensive working knowledge of industrial instruments, employment legislation and payroll related statutory requirements.
- Preceda and Kronos experience is desirable but not essential
