**Stockroom Assistant**
Established in 1837, Smith Bradbeer is a family-owned independent company with two Department Stores, two Furniture Stores, a Removals & Storage company, and a Furniture Rental service. The company also has property assets leased to tenants.
We are seeking to recruit a Stockroom Assistant to work at the new Salisbury Department Store. The full-time role is generally Monday - Friday but some weekends will be required.
**Role Requirements**:
- Attention to detail and strict deadlines.
- A collaborative and strong team player.
- A positive 'can do' attitude.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Physically capable of lifting and carrying stock items and boxes.
**Role Responsibilities**:
- Able to prepare and label stock accurately.
- Assist with receiving, checking, and coding deliveries accurately and efficiently.
- Unpacking and preparing stock for the sales floor.
- Ensure stock reaches shop floor as promptly as possible when required.
- Keeping breakages to a minimum, accurately recording damaged stock.
- Completing price changes.
- Assisting with stock counts/stocktakes.
- Sales Floor cover if required.
- Liaising with suppliers and delivery companies.
