**Overview**

A great opportunity exists for a reliable and motivated ACAT Assessor to join our dedicated Aged Care Assessment Program team in planning, implementing and evaluating a comprehensive and integrated range of services, appropriate to the needs of the local community.

As a member of a multi-disciplinary team, including health professionals and service providers from other sectors, the ACAT Assessor utilises a combination of preventative, early intervention, treatment /therapy and evaluation approaches.

The ACAT Assessor supports the Riverland Mallee Coorong ACAT Team across the geographical areas of Riverland Mallee and Coorong and ensures that processes, as prescribed by the Department of Health and Ageing in accordance with the Aged Care Assessment Approval Guidelines, are followed. He/she will take a lead role in facilitating the provision of high quality and comprehensive assessment of frail older people requiring a range of residential and community aged care services resulting in improved choices and knowledge for older people and their families/carers.

This is a part time vacancy, working 24 hours per fortnight and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked. In addition to the annual salary package, we also offer salary sacrifice benefits, employer superannuation contributions and leave loading.
