About this role
As a Ranger, you will use your skills and experience to manage, protect and maintain park values and assets, support great visitor experiences, and to protect biodiversity and cultural heritage. As part of a small, committed team you'll be helping to manage an area that contains an extensive network of day visitor areas, walking tracks, roads and natural features, which draw thousands of visitors per year. You'll also be involved in pest plant and animal management, native vegetation management, Traditional Owner engagement, visitor engagement and compliance activities.

**We're looking for someone with**:

- Experience in operational land management
- A positive work ethic and sound problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated project management skills
- A strong self-awareness and ability to develop and maintain effective relationships
- Conservation and Land Management qualifications are desirable
- A current Resume
- A cover letter addressing the Key Capabilities as outlined in the position description.
- Aboriginality Form or letter affirming membership from your Traditional Owner corporation

We are a dedicated team of rangers managing the parklands in the lower reaches of the Yarra River which include many significant billabongs, rare plant communities and threatened species. Some of our parks are Yarra Bend in Fairfield and Kew, Westerfolds in Templestowe, and Banksia and Birrarung in Bulleen.
