**Job Description**:
We are seeking an aspiring, technically competent professional to assist the Melbourne Industrial team in analysing, marketing and negotiating the sale of properties across the market. This key role is actively involved in the campaign life-cycle, researching the property investment market and providing market intelligence to support the compilation of submissions and production of information memorandums.

With the assistance of the Directors of the team, the scope of the role will include:

- Research and analysis of relevant market information / intelligence, particularly in the area of divestments and acquisitions that leads to the identification and securing of off-market opportunities, both portfolios and single assets, across the industrial asset class.
- Provision of financial / cash flow modelling for major Industrial / commercial properties and compilation of information for use in submissions, pitches and information memorandums.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of marketing strategies for the Industrial Markets client group, including Institutional and International clients.
- Undertaking and / or coordinating comprehensive financial and technical due diligence on assets and assistance with handling associated enquiries during campaigns, including lease reviews and outgoings bench-marking exercises.
- Helping identify potential clients and properties to sell.
- Actively pursue new appointments to act for organisations, especially focusing on fostering existing and new relationships with businesses likely to result in ongoing opportunities for Colliers International.
- Prepare client progress reports on campaigns and attend client meetings.

**Qualifications**:
Ideally the right person for the role will be already be working as a valuer or analyst within a commercial property business or banking sector that wants to partner with one of the best Industrial agency teams in the country. This role is also ideal for a current property student looking for real work experience.

Other requirements:

- University Degree Qualified (property or business related) & Real Estate License/Certificate or willing to acquire one
- Intermediate with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel and MS-Project)
- Excellent Communication skills both written and oral, and the ability to converse with all level of staff from senior level management to technical staff.
- Understanding of local investment property market and current trends
