**About the role**:
Knauf has an exciting new opportunity for a **Plasterer** to join the Knauf Linings team based in **Pinkenba, QLD. **Reporting to the contracting area manager you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional plastering solutions for a wide range of commercial and residential projects across QLD.

**Role responsibilities**:

- Determining plasterboard layout
- Measuring, marking, cutting, lifting and positioning plasterboard and securing them to walls, ceilings and battens
- Preparing corner beads and securing them in position
- Fixing plaster and paper cornices, panel moldings, ceiling centres and other plaster fittings
- Covering joints and screw fittings with wet plaster and sealing compounds and smoothing them using wet brushes and sandpaper
- Plumbing and straightening corners, angles and wall ceiling surfaces
- Strong knowledge of all aspects of plastering skills (5 years experience preferred)
- Commercial and residential building experience
- Experience with plastering and framing
- Experience with suspended ceilings, patching, sanding hanging sheets, stopping up, working with metal and timber frames
- Hard working can do attitude
- Understanding of HSE requirements
