Our client a major food processing and value adding company that has grown from humble beginnings into a great organisation with an international reputation for high quality products is seeking a Trade Qualified Maintenance Fitter to join their large and well-established facility.

In this role you will be responsible for general maintenance that includes repair on a day-to-day basis as well as ensuring downtime is minimised. Furthermore, you will be responsible for the fault finding, repairs, ongoing and preventative maintenance of the various plant machinery & equipment, all of which is carried out in a well-structured team environment.

In addition, you will develop and implement systems that will maximise efficiency of and minimise cost of utilities. You will also recommend and develop initiatives that will enhance productivity, efficiency, and profitability of the plant.
