Equine Studies Teacher/ Instructor

CREST Education comprises two independent, coeducational schools with over 2,200 students, an Equestrian Centre and an Environmental Reserve at Clyde North. Hillcrest Christian College, established in 1981, operates from Early Learning to VCE levels. Rivercrest Christian College is an authorised International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP) World School, with modern facilities at Clyde North. It is a growing College, adding a new year level each year; our first Year 11 classes commence in 2024.
Ayr Hill Equestrian Centre caters for students from Year 5 and up and we have an exciting opportunity for an Equine Studies Instructor-Coach to join our team.
- Relevant riding instructor qualification (minimum EA Intro Coach or equivalent) and demonstrated adaptability to be an all-rounder in performing equestrian related tasks
- Valid Working with Children Check
- Demonstrated ability to be valuable contributor to a team and provide recommendations for continuous improvement
Appropriate physical capacity to undertake a range of manual handling tasks and riding of school horses
Demonstrated ability at contributing to or developing curriculum and lesson plans suitable to skill level of cohort
Demonstrated ability to cope in stressful, demanding, fast changing situations with competing demands
Highly organized and energetic work ethic
- Demonstrated experience in liaising with students, parents and competition organisers
- Commitment to quality education
