- **Salary: $29,286 to $53,871 (Pro-Rata) - OPX1 - **Casual Pool**

**Overview**

Contributes to the well-being of residents of the therapeutic community by providing support on evening and weekend shifts. This involves resident interaction, overseeing of meetings on weekends and provision of feedback of resident’s behaviour as well as undertaking and maintaining relevant documentation and basic administrative tasks in accordance with Woolshed procedures. May, as need determines, provide coordination and guidance for resident work projects.
- Working within a therapeutic community model as a member of community where visible role modelling of appropriate behaviour is an expectation
- Remoteness of location if travelling from Adelaide region

**Criminal History Screening Requirement**
- A National Police Certificate (NPC) for employment involving no contact with vulnerable groups is required for this position (general employment)
- A DHS ‘Working With Children Check’ (WWCC) is required for this position

**Immunisation Risk for this position is Category A (direct contact with blood or body substances)**

SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.

**Special Conditions**
- May be required to undertake a health assessment prior to commencement.
- Some out of hours work may be required.
- The position is located at the Woolshed in Ashbourne but the After Hours Worker must be willing to work in any clinical area of DASSA within the metropolitan area, and/or LHN/ HN/ SAAS/ DHW, as required.
- The period of appointment to be on a casual basis and will attract leave loading.
- The position may be required on a week-day day shifts, or after-hours shifts, weekend shifts and public holidays. Shifts will attract applicable penalties.
- A passive duty period between 2300hrs and 0700hrs with provision for sleeping on site.
- A current SA motor vehicle driver’s licence is required.
- The incumbent must be prepared to assist or be relocated to other areas of DASSA if required
