**Exome Coordinator**
- Supports the clinical team in facilitating exome testing

- One day per week (15.2 hrs/fortnight) fixed term position
- An opportunity exists for a Genetics Support Officer to support the exome testing program at The Royal Melbourne Hospital. The appointee will work within the Department of Genomic Medicine where we provide clinical services for patients with a personal or family history of a range of hereditary conditions.

**Your new role**:

- You will provide support to the genetic counselling and clinical genetics team who provide genetic counselling to patients and families who are undergoing exome testing.
- You will support the Genetic Counsellors and Clinical Geneticists in all aspects of administrative, data entry and reporting requirements for the Department of Health.
- You will work under the direction of the Genetic Counsellors to provide data, administrative and case management support.
- You will work primarily at the RMH city campus, but the appointee may need to occasionally attend clinics and meetings at other Alliance hospitals and research organisations.

- Experience in a clinical genetics department
