**Position: Disability Support Worker (Female)**

Infinite Ability is an approved NDIS service provider. We Support People with Disabilities and Mental health conditions in their homes and community in Victoria, New South Wales and Western Australia. Currently, we need a passionate Female Disability Support worker who can work with the male participant with personal care needs to assist them with activities of daily living and community participation around Southwest Sydney and who has experience working with a participant who has spinal injury, electric wheelchair, Manual Handling, hoist transfer, smart technology and oxygen concentrator.

Job Summary:

- Supporting people with disabilities for their day-to-day living. Assistance for daily living activities.
- Supporting people with disabilities in their home and taking them for community access.
- Assisting participant with daily chores and personal hygiene
- Supporting to set their routine, helping them to build capacity for their daily living skills
- Assist with the delivery of activities to enhance the physical, social, emotional and intellectual development of those in their care
- Provide high quality, professional and individualized support to customers.
- Complete all administrative tasks

**Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications**
Essential:

- Cert III or Cert IV In disability or equivalent Previous experience in the disability field
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- First Aid Certificate and CPR
- Working with Children’s Check
- Must satisfy all visa requirements for working in Australia.
- Driver’s license
- A reliable vehicle
- Vaccination proof

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Morning shift
- Public holidays
- Rotating roster
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- South West Sydney, NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (required)
- NDIS screening check (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

Work Location: In person
