We currently have a permanent opportunity for a Disability Support Practitioner to work alongside our amazing team at our Respite Home (Short Term Accommodation) in St Ives. Please note there are overnight shifts from Thursday to Saturday and you will be required to stay awake for the duration of the shift and you must be available for day shifts for the first two weeks to complete training.

- Disability Support Practitioner at CPA, you will have a comprehensive learning journey throughout your orientation and ongoing development. This includes:_
- _ Specialist training opportunities_
- _ Buddy shifts with experienced Disability Support Practitioners_
- _ Opportunities to complete nationally recognised qualifications such as Certificate III in Individual Support and Certificate IV in Disability_
- The investment in your learning and development by CPA exceeds $5,000 in your first year._
Your duties will include:
- Delivering personalised support in a group home setting
- Providing in home support by assisting clients at meal times, with personal care and administering medication
- Assisting with domestic duties around the home
- Supporting clients to engage and participate in their community
- Socialise and build a happy and positive relationship with our clients
- Using CPA minivan to transport clients if applicable
**Requirements**:
- Experience in the disability industry
- NSW Driver's License (preferred)
- Live locally to the mentioned locations
- Be available for night shifts
