**About the Role**
- Based at our Brisbane CBD offices and operating under a hybrid working model, this position supports all procurement aspects of several cross-business categories in support of the company’s upstream, midstream and clean fuels operating division assets and Santos corporate program. It operates in a way which optimises risk and value in order to contribute to Santos’ competitive advantage and meet its business objectives.

Key accountabilities include:

- Deliver end to end contracting and procurement in support of cross business categories may include:

- TCO, should cost, bench marking, and other analyses
- sourcing activities
- drafting recommendations for delegates that are informed by market intelligence and that balance risk and value
- SRM activities for contracts under management
- Work collaboratively with key internal stakeholders to ensure sourcing needs are understood and supply chain strategies aligned
- Ensure development and execution of sourcing strategies and category plans to achieve lowest total cost outcomes whilst accommodating delivery of scope growth
- Build and maintain business relationships with key suppliers for assigned category
- Manage supplier performance within category to ensure optimum cost, quality, and safe delivery
- Lead and contribute to negotiations
- Ensure contracts within the category are maintained to high standard and adequately administered including ACV, term, variations and claims
- Comply with Supply Chain Standards ensuring requirements are complied with or modified as required
- Ensure all sourcing and contracting activities comply with JV Agreements

**About You**
- You will be experienced in:

- Operating within a Contract Advisor, Category Advisor or Procurement Advisor position (or similar), ideally within a cross-business environment
- Experience procuring within oil and gas, construction, engineering or similar
- Full lifecycle experience in procurement including negotiations, contracts and vendor management
- Operational knowledge within large-scale ERP systems (SAP preferred but not required), supported by solid analytical skills in MS Excel
- A solutions-oriented approach to procurement operations
- Sound teamwork and consultation skills
- Ideally, you will also hold a degree qualification in Supply Chain Management, Business, Law, Engineering or project related (e.g. QS / Construction Management) Degree desirable.
