Depot Yardperson

Our client is a family owned and operated business in Geelong that specialise in the Waste industry. Due to rapid business growth we are looking for a motivated person for a full time role based in Geelong. Reporting to the Operations Supervisor this role is available now

**About the role**:

- Washing trucks and fleet of vehicles.
- Preparing bins for events
- General cleaning of the yard.
- Moving vehicles around the depot
- Operating a forklift at times
- Unload and empty content of bins into safe disposal area
- Place bins in commercial washing machine and unload when clean
- Load small clean bins in vans ready for distribution
- General duties onsite as directed.
- Required to be a truck jockey as needed
- Help out in the workshop
- No two days will be the same

**What you need**:

- Previous cleaning experience an advantage.
- Australian car drivers license, truck licence preferred.
- Ability to drive vehicles around onsite
- Physically fit and agile
- Positive attitude is a must
- Self motivated to work hard.
- Adhere to a strict alcohol & drug policy
- Willingness to obtain a police check and undergo pre-employment medical checks

**What's on offer**:

- A full time position based in Geelong.
- Annual salary of $53,000 plus Super.
- Day shift (flexible 8am-4pm or 7am-3pm)
