Join Our Team as a Furniture Maker

**About Us**:
We're small team making furniture designed for modern needs, taking into consideration the changing ways in which we each use our furniture. Made from sustainably sourced hardwoods and hand finished in natural oils, we craft every piece with the patience required to bring brilliance out of wood from our Melbourne workshop.

**Responsibilities**:

- Interpreting furniture design drawings and cut lists
- Dressing rough timber using a jointer and thicknesser
- Precision cutting timber using various saws
- Sanding furniture to a high grade finish using hand sanding, orbital sanders, wide belts and edge sanders
- Repairing timber pieces
- Prepping and finishing furniture pieces using natural oils
- Assembly of furniture components

**Requirements**:

- Certificate III in Carpentry
- Certificate IV and Diploma in Building and Construction
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in carpentry, wood working, preferably in a similar business
- Previous experience with CNC routers and wide belt sanders
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
