**About Our Client**:
My client is an ASX listed organisation who service the mining, building and construction industries. Being in operation for over 20 years, they are one of the market leaders in their field.

The business offers a tight knit culture - with a family feel to the business and an extremely supportive environment.

You'll be working in a team of three in payroll - with the other team members being longstanding, friendly colleagues.

The business operates out of Eagle Farm and offers on site parking.

This is a hands on, end to end payroll processing focused role. The team of three pays circa 700 staff between them, with a mix of salaried staff, casuals and contractors. You will have an area of responsibility, with all Payroll Officers being cross trained across each area.

Key duties include:

- Ensuring all employees across the business units are paid in an accurate and timely manner
- Reporting both internally & externally on payroll figures
- Processing all new starters & terminations
- Answering payroll related queries from staff across Australia
- Ensuring superannuation is paid correctly, as are all relevant taxes
- Proactively recognise and recommend opportunities to improve current analysis and financial administration processes in order to enhance the efficiency of the payroll function within the business unit.

**The Successful Applicant**:

- Payroll exposure from a blue collar environment
- Experience using the PayGlobal (or similar) system
- Experience with new starter & redundancy calculations
- Intermediate excel skills

I have a competitive package on offer - ideally at the $70,000 - $80,000 + superannuation mark, there is some room to be flexible on this for the right person.

You will enjoy a supportive, fun work culture and some flexible working.The company is able to offer this role both on a permanent basis, or on a part time schedule.

There is real flexibility in hours worked. The current team works 7.30am - 4.00pm and finish at 2pm on Fridays.
