**Role Description/Criteria**

We are seeking a passionate **Physical Education Teacher** to be part of our growing College community.

If you are an enthusiastic and creative Teacher who can be a role model for our students, demonstrate a professional and collegial approach to staff, and provide excellent communication to our College families, then you’re a perfect fit for our team of dedicated and exceptional educators.

**About You**:

- A contemporary teacher comfortable with using multiple teaching techniques to engage students of all learning abilities.
- A passion for promoting physical fitness and a positive attitude towards physical activity.
- Be engaging, inclusive and sensitive to the needs of young people
- An ability to foster a welcoming and calm learning environment which promotes positive behaviour.
- Demonstrated pastoral approach towards student and staff relationships.
- Highly organised and structured
- A demonstrated commitment to work in a Catholic Education environment.

**Knowledge Skills & Abilities**:

- Bachelor degree in a relevant discipline.
- Current VIT registration.
- Current First Aid/CPR certificate.
- A demonstrated understanding of social, and emotional issues connected to student life.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
