They are currently seeking a self-motivated Pricing Specialist to join the team in Bankstown. This is an exceptional opportunity for individuals seeking a long-term position.

The successful applicants will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to the team that manages all bid activity for all modes of transportation, particularly in freight forwarding industry. This includes the ongoing analysis of pricing of all services and development of strategies to address findings. You will work with all levels of the organisation to ensure the maximisation of sales and profitability while adhering to the pricing policy is followed to maximise sales and profitability. This professional will be a change agent for process improvements.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate closely with sales executives to assist in the development and execution of sales strategies, including prospecting, lead generation, and account management
- Maintain regular communication with clients, providing exceptional customer service and addressing inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly
- Prepare and submit accurate and competitive quotations to clients, ensuring alignment with company's pricing and service standards
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records, sales reports, and relevant documentation using company’s in-house CRM system
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, and logistics to ensure a seamless service delivery to clients and excellent customer experience
- Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to shipments expectations
- Analyse customer reporting as needed
- Contribute to customer QBR preparation and delivery
- To maintain and update Freight Pricing Tariffs
- To analyse pricing requests from sales executives to offer customers the best / most economical shipping routes at the most competitive costs factoring cargo urgency and the required date of the customer
- To generate and submit daily Quotation Reports

**Requirements**:

- Strong knowledge of Freight Forwarding operations and processes
- Experience in managing & coordinating solutions, business changes and customer projects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric mindset
- Experience of at least 2 to 3 years in a pricing role in a freight-forwarding company (in both ocean freight and air freight) is preferred but experience of at least 4 years in handling export and import operations in the same industry is a must
