About the role
The Handyman is responsible for providing both preventative and reactive maintenance of the Hospital to ensure a safe and well maintained working environment. This position is full time, 76 hours per fortnight and involves being on call every 3 weeks for a week at a time.
**Key Responsibilities**:
Support service delivery under the direction of Management
Assist in the timely repair and maintenance of hospital plant, equipment, fixtures and fittings.
Liaise with others in the department and contractors, perform facility inductions, ensure all WHS documentation and procedures are followed.
Undertake routine corrective maintenance and/or notify the external provider if required to undertake repairs.
Be Part of an on-call roster
