**The Opportunity**

**Beachside Gardens Retirement Village** is a friendly community set on well-maintained grounds and positioned near the sandy shores of Safety Beach on Melbourne's Mornington Peninsula and ideally located just minutes from wineries, cafes, shopping precincts and more. You will provide high-quality daily care and social support services for residents, focusing on promoting their independence and well-being. You will enjoy fostering strong relationships with residents, their families and your colleagues to help ensure care outcomes are consistently exceeded.

**This is a Permanent Part-time position. And we have the following shifts available in weeks one and two**:

- Monday - Wednesday, from 07:00 - 14:30**:

- Monday - Sunday, from 17:00 - 21:00**
**You will**
- Promote community integration and supporting residents in accessing social and recreational activities.
- Transportation; use your car to drive residents to medical appointments or grocery shopping.
- Ensure all residents receive kind, caring and respectful personal care that supports their choice and independence
- Provide assistance to the residents and community with tasks including (but not limited to): medical & personal support, domestic cleaning and general admin duties
- Supporting residents with recreational and social activities
- Be passionate, trustworthy, reliable and enjoy connecting with residents, colleagues and the wider community

**What you will bring**
- Certificate III/IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, Disability, Health Services Assistance or equivalent (required)
- Current First Aid & CPR certificate (required)
- Current Police Check clearance (required, however we can complete for you)
- Current COVID-19 Vaccinations up to date (required)
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage time
- **Please note - as part of this role, it is required that you have a valid driver's license and a car, as you will be required to drive to and from the community. You will receive mileage reimbursement for the time spent providing social support.**
