**The Role**:
This is an ongoing Part Time position (0.8 FTE) - with the posibility to pick up additional hours within the Dentistry deprtment. We are looking for a Dental assistant to join our supportive and professional multidisciplinary specialist team. This is a great opportunity to gain new skills working with a team of specialists and experienced Dental Assistants. We recognise that our Dental Assistants are critical to the delivery of high
- quality, efficient, and effective clinical care.

**What you'll achieve**:

- Actively contribute to the provision of high quality clinical care
- Provide clinical chair side support and assist our specialists in an outpatient clinic
- See emergency patients as required and assist in theatre as rostered
- Prepare, maintain and manage the clinical environment, including equipment, materials, and instrument to ensure efficient and enhanced treatment and patient care

**Your skills and experience**:

- 2+ years of experience working chair-side assisting would be desirable
- Certificate III in Dental Assisting or Certificate in Dental Nursing
- Well -developed communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and take initiative
