As a result, we are recruiting for a Buying Administration Assistant to join us, working with our CATEGORY of products.**About the role**
- Based at our head office in Preston, our Buying Department manages the products in our stores and is responsible for promotions, supplier relationships, and negation products & pricing.- As a Buyer’s Assistant working with the CATEGORY of products your primary focus will be to assist the Category Buyers achieve our business goals of increased sales and profitability.- In doing so, your day to day will involve undertaking important administrative tasks, building relationships & influencing stakeholders, and making decisions that are fair and transparent.- You will be required to:
- Provide administrative assistance and assist in the co-ordination of stock with the warehouses
- Establish and maintain relationships with key internal/external stakeholders
- Communicate with stores regarding new lines and promotions
- Coordinate the replenishment of stock as necessary, ensuring we have sufficient stock available
- Ensure stock is evenly distributed across the Group
- Ensure catalogue item stock levels are maintained to meet store and customer demand

**About you**- As you will need to establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, we are also looking for applicants that are comfortable and capable of building effective working relationships with a range of people.- The successful applicant will also require:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and confidence in presentation
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team when required
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office products and databases including Excel
- High level of initiative and attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and grow within the business
- Proven negotiation skills
- The successful applicant will also be required to return a satisfactory National Criminal History Check outcome._
