**About the Role**:
An exciting opportunity is presented to work within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network as a Mothercarer within the Women and Children's Division

The successful applicant will
- Provide practical and emotional support, antenatally and/or postnatally, to mothers and their families within their own homes.
- Tailor support to the individual woman and her family with the aim of enabling new parents to: confidently and safely care for their baby in a hygienic environment; rest and recuperate; and adapt to the change in family dynamics which a new baby brings.
- Provide care which includes assisting parents prepare for the birth of their baby, assisting with the care of their baby, household duties, transport, care of older children, emotional and educational support, and referral of the mother or family members to community agencies for ongoing support.

To be eligible for this position you must have (AQF) Australian Qualifications Framework Certificate 3 relevant to employers' position,
