**Contract Type**: Permanent Part Time

**Days/Hours**:

- Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday: 8:00am-4:30pm
- Occasional date night babysitting

**About the Family**:
This role is for a professional couple caring for their 13-month-old daughter. In their family time, they enjoy park trips, walks, cooking, and reading stories. When the role begins, their little girl will be 14 months old. She loves cuddles, toys, outings to the park, music, and practicing her standing. The family follows a respectful parenting approach and has established a consistent sleep routine, including two naps per day. They also have two older sons/step-sons, aged 16 and 12, who alternate between this home and their other parent’s home. While the boys are an integral part of the household, they will not be present during the nanny’s working hours.

**What We’re Looking For**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Engage the child in age-appropriate activities such as playtime, singing, reading books, crafts, and encouraging independent play.
- Take walks to the local park and support developmental milestones; occasional outings on the nearby ferry.
- Plan and manage the baby’s daily routines, including feeding solids, managing awake windows, and assisting with naps (rocking or cuddling if needed, but with a focus at this age on gently settling the child in her cot).
- Handle minor food preparation and clean up after meals and snacks.
- Tidy up after the baby’s activities.

**If time allows**:

- Help with baking baby-friendly snacks to restock the family’s freezer.
- Assist with the child’s laundry only, such as soaking stained clothing.

**This role offers an excellent opportunity for a compassionate and experienced nanny to make a meaningful impact during an important stage in this family’s life.**

**Must have**:

- 2 years experience in a similar role
- Blue Card
- 2 x References
- First Aid and CPR Certificates

Long term availability

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Contract
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.5 per week

- Nannying: 2 years (required)
