We are currently seeking dedicated and caring Aged Care Support Workers to join our clients team. As an Aged Care Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing essential support to our elderly residents, assisting them with daily activities, and ensuring their overall well-being. Your responsibilities will include:

- Assisting residents with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Supporting residents in mobility and transfers, using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Assisting with medication administration, following established protocols.
- Providing companionship and engaging in meaningful conversations with residents.
- Assisting with meal preparation and feeding, considering individual dietary requirements.
- Performing light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Observing and reporting any changes in residents' physical or mental health to the appropriate supervisor.
- Participating in social and recreational activities, promoting a positive and stimulating environment for residents.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working in aged care or a similar role is preferred.
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent qualification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with residents and their families.
- Compassionate and patient demeanour with a genuine passion for caring for the elderly.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual, with excellent time management skills.
- Ability to handle challenging situations with empathy and professionalism.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Valid First Aid and CPR certificates (or willingness to obtain them).
